Lydia is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with vast experience in litigation and a climate change lawyer experienced in formulating national and sub-national climate policies aimed at mainstreaming the international climate framework into sectoral policies and legislations.
She has represented parties before the Supreme Court, the Court of Appeal, the High Court as well as the various tribunals in a wide range of matters including but not limited to constitutional petitions, civil matters, employment and labour disputes, commercial law disputes, sports law disputes as well as land and environment matters.
Lydia holds a Masters in Law (LL.M) in climate change law and policy. She is an award-winning researcher with strong research experience in national and sub-national climate governance, international climate policy (including the UNFCCCC process and Paris Agreement) and climate change litigation.
